Matthias (born 1970), takes care of and dying and their relatives for last ten years as a palliative care doctor. From the meeting with those people at the end of their life he developed a deep curiosity and awe at what defines our life and death, designes it and makes it unique. He lives and works in Berlin.
The thought of Death and dying are taboo and self-evident, banal and unbelievable at the same time. Often repressed in everyday life it determines, lurking in the shadows, our behavior more often than we think, gives serenity or takes our breath away, makes us small or grow beyond ourselves, makes us desperate or search for immortality.
This workshop is an experiment, an attempt to bring this driving force of many our actions a little bit out of the shadows and make it concsious as a source of joy (although not nessecarily fun)
